After reviewing the Wedding Cake Portfolio, a phone consultation must be scheduled in advance to guide you through our design process. To schedule a phone consultation, please complete our wedding inquiry form.
We recommend that you contact us two months prior to your wedding date. However, we may accommodate some orders with less notice. Karen Krasne, the chef/owner of Extraordinary Desserts and our wedding cake designer, will contact you within 3 business days of your online inquiry for a brief introduction to our wedding order design process.
A design and tasting consultation will then be scheduled at our Little Italy location at which time a $50 non-refundable deposit will be taken to secure your wedding date. The tasting and design consultation includes up to 3 cake tastings and a cake design for your specific reception.
Karen Krasne has been creating stunning and delicious wedding cakes for discerning brides for over 25 years. She is the author of Extraordinary Cakes and has had her cakes grace the cover of notable publications including Bon Appetit magazine. She studied pastry making at Le Cordon Bleu in Paris and regularly returns to France to train with the masters at LeNotre, Ecole Bellouet Conseil, and L’Atelier Pierre Herme. She looks forward to working with you to create a beautiful wedding cake for your special day.
